So I actually picked Triggerfish, but since last week was a fish, i moved further down the page to TRILLIUM.
Trillium- (n.) So called because all species have leaves in sets of three. Any of a genus of convallariaceous herbs with short rootstocks and an erect stem bearing a whorl of three leves and a large solitary flower.
Anabas- (n.) any of a genus of small perchlike fresh-water spiny-finned fishes of southeastern Asia and Africa. One species, called climbing fish, can travel considerable distances over land, and is said to climb trees.
Ok, using vortex as inspiration was horrible. I mean what am I supposed to draw besides spirals? Last week was crazy busy so I only finished two...bleh. I'll pick my new word for this week in a minute.
Alrighty, better late then never, this week's word is VORTEX......vortex is really close to vomit in the dictionary...i'm really glad i didn't land on that.
Vortex-(n.) A mass of fluid, esp. a liquid, having a whirling or circular motion tending to form a cavity or vacuum in the center of the circle, and to draw toward this bodies subject to its action; a whirlpool; eddy.
I finished early this week, so I decided to post early so I didn't have to do this on the 4th. Alright, I'm gone for the weekend, so maybe i'll post my new word late Monday night!
I'm a 5th year Fashion Design: Product Development major at the University of Cincinnati in the college of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning. I love fashion design, but for the past couple of years I have started to focus more on textile and print design. I'm in a 5 year program at school which includes a year and a half of work experience they call Co-Op. Basically starting my sophomore year every other quarter I work for a company as an intern and then I go back to school for a quarter. Now that I've just finished my 5th co-op I've worked at 5 different companies with jobs that include product development, apparel design and textile design. Textile design is my favorite, so I have been on that track for the last year.
